No. We are an independent service run by alumni. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the University of California, Berkeley or the Haas School of Business, we have no role in admissions decisions, and we cannot influence any application.

No, and we’d turn down the work if you asked. We ask questions, mark what’s unclear, suggest cuts, and tell you when a draft is finished. Ghostwritten essays are both against UC’s rules and easy to spot.

No one can. Haas transfer admission is extremely competitive and depends heavily on your record. What we can do is make sure your prerequisites, coursework plan, activities, and writing are as strong and as clear as they can be, and tell you honestly where you stand.

A Berkeley alum matched to your path. Readers stay anonymous publicly because most have day jobs, but before your first call you’ll know their college, major, graduation era, and whether they transferred or applied internationally. You keep the same reader throughout a package.

For essays, July or August is ideal and September is fine. For transfer strategy, a full year ahead is better, because course choices are the part of your application you can still change. We do take students in November, but there’s less we can do.

Your PIQs go to every UC campus you apply to, so that work carries across. We’ll happily discuss your wider UC list, but Berkeley is what our readers know first-hand and it’s what we claim expertise in.

Yes. Packages can be split into instalments, and we hold a small number of significantly reduced-fee spots each cycle for students with financial need. Mention it on the form. It doesn’t affect how we work with you. The guides on this site are free and always will be.
