We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to the University of California, Berkeley, the Haas School of Business, or the UC Office of the President. We do not use Berkeley's logos, marks, or colors, and we do not speak for the university.

Our readers are alumni sharing their own experience as private individuals. No one on our team has any role in admissions decisions, and we have no ability to influence any application. For official requirements, deadlines, and policies, always go directly to the university's own admissions pages.

Why our readers stay anonymous

Most of our readers work full-time, and several are still in graduate programs. Publishing names and photographs would make consulting look like a side identity they have to defend to employers, so we don't. Instead we tell you exactly what you need to judge fit: college, major, graduation era, and applicant path.

You'll know who your reader is before you pay for anything beyond the free intro call, and you can ask them anything about their own application on that call.

How matching works

  • Transfer applicants are matched with readers who transferred in themselves.
  • Haas applicants get a Haas alum wherever availability allows.
  • International applicants are matched with readers who applied from outside the U.S. when possible.
  • If the match isn't working after the first call, we re-match you for free.

Our rules

  • We don't write your essays. We ask questions, flag what isn't landing, and help you cut. The sentences are yours.
  • We don't promise outcomes. Anyone who guarantees admission to Berkeley is either lying or selling something worse.
  • We tell you when you don't need us. Plenty of applicants are fine with the free guides, and we'd rather say that on the intro call.
  • Your materials stay private. We don't publish student essays, and we don't use your work as an example without written permission.
